2027 EASTON DUB DARKSIDE -8 USSSA BASEBALL BAT (EUT7DBDS8)
The 2027 Easton Dub Darkside -8 USSSA Baseball Bat opens with a build designed for players who want the barrel to feel present, composed, and ready from the first swing. Early reps, cage work, and game-speed swings all ask the same question: does the bat stay connected when the tempo rises? The Dub Darkside answers with a two-piece composite construction that keeps the barrel active through contact and the handle calm in your hands, cut after cut.
SECOND-GENERATION DOUBLE BARREL PERFORMANCE
In 2026, Easton introduced a completely new generation of composite performance with The Dub — a first-of-its-kind double barrel construction built to give USSSA players what they want most: maximum performance, unmatched feel, and an unmistakable sound. A thinner, lower-compression outer barrel creates more flex across the entire hitting surface, while an inner barrel governs performance right at the USSSA limit. For 2027, The Dub carries that same feel and sound into an all-new Darkside look.
2X DOUBLE BARREL CONSTRUCTION
At the core of the build is 2X Double Barrel Construction: a lower-compression outer barrel paired with a lightweight, durable inner barrel. The outer barrel flexes across the full length of the hitting surface while the inner barrel governs performance directly at the limit — the combination behind the lowest barrel compression of any USSSA bat Easton makes, with more flex and higher performance end to end.
DARKSIDE DECAL & DUBLVZN GRAPHIC TECHNOLOGY
Where two worlds collide, the Dub Darkside features DUBLVZN graphic technology — an ultra-chrome top layer that unearths a hidden design underneath with every swing. The more you hit, the more of the Darkside comes through.
FEEL & CONTROL THROUGH THE SWING
CONNEXION MAX
The barrel is backed by ConneXion Max, an elastomer connector that interlocks the handle to the barrel, reducing vibration for a smoother, more connected two-piece feel on every swing — including the mishits.
OPTI-FLEX HANDLE & GEN2 IN2UITIV FEEL SOFT KNOB
Driven by ongoing research and feedback from some of the game's best players, the Opti-Flex Handle is engineered size by size to give elite travel ball athletes a more complete overall feel through the zone. The Gen2 In2uitiv Feel Soft Knob finishes the handle side with a newly designed, asymmetric contour that delivers comfort and barrel control that holds up over a full bucket of reps — not just the first few swings out of the wrapper.
FLOW+TACK GRIP & BALANCED SWING WEIGHT
A 1.8mm perforated Flow+Tack Grip keeps your hands locked in for quality feel and control, and the -8 model carries a balanced swing weight built for players chasing maximum bat speed and all-around performance.
